BMYC Jr Sailing Program Summer 2024 r Bow Mar Yacht Club offers summer jr sailing camps for kids from 6 to 18 years old. Students must be current members of BMOI (Bow Mar) or BMS HOA (Bow Mar South) in good standing. Camps are grouped by age. Once a jr sailor passes their Advanced Sailing level, they can take the Advanced Sailing Camp 6-7 Years Camp 8-10 Years Camp 11+ Years Camp Advanced Sailing Camp | Check out the chart below for camp schedules for swim team, tennis and sailing See what your camper's summer schedule will look like. Sunday Club Races Sailors' Notice Board Sailors check here for updates on Sunday Club Races and regattas Sunday Club Races BMYC hosts Club Races every Sunday, Memorial Day through Labor Day, on Bow Mar Lake. You must be a BMYC member, or a guest of a member, to participate in club races. Get current and future info on winds and weather from our own lake weather station on the swim dock. You don't have to know how to sail... or know about boats at all to help out. Just come enjoy being on the lake among the sailboats! Neil Ray, our Primary Race Committee, will drive the boat, show you what to do and may even explain the races or sailing terms to you. Drinks provided! Thank you for volunteering!! Please be at the sailing dock no later than 1pm to gather supplies and load boats. We will show you what to do! Races start at 2pm. To see which dates are still available click here. |
