Drop-In Group Sailing Classes

starting  this  Friday,  July 12

Learn the basics of sailing, how to check-out a club boat, how to rig it, and take it out on the water.  You'll learn how to adjust the sail for more or less speed,

what to do if you capsize, how to get from here to there... and back!  Those who have some sailing experience can practice

more advanced maneuvers, and learn the basic elements of racing.  Classes will be taught by the Jr Sailing instructors and experienced

Bow Mar sailors on club Sunfish and Laser sailboats.

Dates: 

4 Fridays

July 12, 19, 26 and Aug. 2

Time:   

5 - 8 pm 

Location: 

The sailing area,  at the south end of the beach.  Meet at the sailing deck.

Must be a current BMYC member. 

Members in the class may invite 2 guests to participate.

Price: 

BMYC member -  $250

Non-BMYC member   -  $300

(must be the guest of a BMYC member also in the class)

Wear:

shorts or bathing suit, t-shirt

beach clothes that can get wet

Life jacket

dry change of clothes
